Thank you for your reply. I actually sent both parents a description of sociopathy after the thefts and asked that they send her to counseling. My husband agreed but his ex emphatically disagreed and would not consent to therapy for her because she views this behavior as normal teenage stuff (she has medical decision authority for the kids). So right now I am saying I don't want her unsupervised in my home, she is not going to go to therapy and certainly they wouldn't send her to a facility, and my husband is planning to move to his rental house so he can have her on the weekends. Do you have any further advise for us or is this just becoming "not my problem anymore"? Both of her parents think what I am doing is cruel and harmful to their daughter.
