How do we make our 4-year old daughter care about peeing in her pants? She was seemingly potty-trained a couple of months ago, and then accidents started happening frequently the last month or two. One particular day saw three separate accidents. Occasionally in that span we've gone days without any. We've tried giving a spanking for accidents. We've tried taking away her TV watching privileges. Today, after we took her TV privileges away after the most recent accident, she calmly said, "I don't care about not watching TV." Now we are increasing the consequence to taking away her ability to play with her best friend. Can we make her care about this? Do we need to use the ticket system with a single ticket? Meaning a single accident puts her in her room devoid of toys for the rest of the day? How can we fix this?
