Thank you for your recent response about our teenaged daughter questioning our values on traditional marriage. We have a few follow-up questions after reading the book you suggested.
We should not forbid her from associating with certain friends, even if we suspect a possible lesbian attraction/relationship? (No micromanaging.) Is this correct?
If so, how do we handle her future requests for "movie dates" at the mall, or slumber parties at home, or at another girl's home, with about 5-6 girls?
Lastly, how do you suggest we reinforce our values without micromanaging or preaching, so as not to provoke disloyalty?
