Question
My two year old Alex hits his 4 1/2 year old brother Ben about a hundred times a day and sometimes bites. We put Alex in his room when he hits, but what do I do about Ben? Sometimes he laughs when he's being hit, most times he just stands there and tattles while the abuse escalates. I'm pretty sure he enjoys seeing his brother get in his share of trouble... I've been telling Ben that its his job to get away from Alex when he starts hitting so I can discipline Alex without worrying about Ben's safety. Should Ben be disciplined when he doesn't follow that direction and just stands there being abused?
