Question
My six year old stepson has started pouting some lately, when we tell him no or reprimand him. We generally ignore it, or say something like "You can go to your room if you're going to pout." Is pouting something we should just ignore, or does it need to be addressed? He generally obeys/listens, just with the pouting/sulking after. It's especially annoying if we are in the car or out at a restaurant; it's much easier to ignore at home. If he's generally doing as he is told, what's the best response?
