Perfectionism and Kids

Question

I have a 4-year-old son, 6-year-old daughter and 4-month-old. We are part of a homeschool co-op group that meets once a week. It isn’t a drop off co-op, so all parents stay the whole time. My daughter really thrives in her class; however, my son gets upset and starts crying whenever he makes a mistake, or the teacher corrects him. If he can’t do something perfectly, he gets upset and is unwilling to participate and stays sad for a while. He has also cried if the teacher didn’t call on him. My thought has been to leave, however I can’t because then my daughter can’t stay which I feel like isn’t fair to her. How can I end this behavior? It seems like he has a hard time with someone else telling him what to do, this isn’t really an issue at home. It’s also hard to deal with on top of taking care of the baby during this time.
