Question
Lately my 4 year old son seems plagued by his thoughts. He will keep coming up to us and say things like “My brain keeps saying a bad word” (which is usually the word “stupid”) or “My brain keeps calling you a bad word” He seems very troubled and guilty for having these thoughts and doesn’t like it. Usually I tell him not all thoughts we think are true and we can let them pass by, but it doesn’t seem to help, as he keeps confessing to me his thoughts. What should I do?
