Question
Good morning, I have a son who is 7 years old. He is sandwiched in between a 9-year-old and a 6-year-old sister. He sees the girls doing better at things like school, riding a bike, sports, etc. ( but he won't acknowledge it). As a result, he doesn't want to participate in sports. If, on a rare occasion, he plays with the girls he has to win at EVERYTHING and is very competitive. But more times than not, he makes a habit of feeling bad about himself. Do you have any advice as to how I can address this with him?
