Jen Carbulon

Jen Carbulon

Jen and her husband reside in North Carolina with their 7 children. Prior to becoming a Certified Leadership Parenting Coach, Jen was a frustrated mom who always felt guilty and had a habit of indulging in confusion and doubt. After her 5th baby, she finally decided to do something about her pain and, with John Rosemond's help, overcame many obstacles, including a lack of time management. Now she is a tough-loving coach who helps moms of kids ages 7-12 stop yelling at their kids.

She helps moms learn from their emotions and feel confident in their parenting so they can experience laying their heads down on the pillow at night with a sense of peace, knowing they did a great job. And...bonus! When moms declutter their minds, guess what happens? The house gets cleaner, they're on time more often, and it all feels easier. :)

Although she holds certifications in parent, mindset, business, and life coaching, her favorite thing to do is talk with you one-on-one.

Dana R. Dempewolf

Dana R. Dempewolf

Dana grew up in West Virginia and graduated from Francis Marion University in South Carolina with both an undergraduate and a graduate degree in psychology. She taught psychology at two local community colleges, worked as a counselor at House of Hope, and then went on to work at Pee Dee Mental Health Center as a children’s counselor for a few years before transitioning to a school-based therapist at a local elementary school for the past 17 years.

When she was 25, she accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior. This change in her heart led to leaving behind the secular worldview held by most modern psychologists and taking on a biblical worldview. During one of her first years at that elementary school, she was introduced to John Rosemond by attending one of his presentations for her school district. Dana is a mother of two adult children and is passionate about sharing her experience and wisdom with others in the hope of helping make parenting less complicated and stressful for others. In addition to wanting children to grow up to be responsible, respectful, and resourceful, Dana wants parents to be leaders in their children’s lives.

Sarah Hamaker

Sarah Hamaker

Laurel Klaassen

Laurel Klaassen

Laurel Klaassen has had many years of working with children and parents. She started her career in education as a Home Economics (Family & Consumer Science) teacher. As many of her students would come to her for help with personal problems, she decided to continue her education by completing a Master’s Degree in School Counseling. As a school counselor for the past 25+ years, she was approached frequently by parents seeking help in dealing with their children and has helped them by offering parenting seminars as well as one-on-one coaching. Her favorite part is when she sees a parent’s eyes light up and respond with a comment such as, “I never thought of that! I can’t wait to go home and get started!”

Being a fan of John Rosemond’s approach to parenting, Laurel was excited to get her husband on board when John spoke in their area. She knew they would parent as a team when he said, “That’s the most common sense parenting approach I’ve heard!”, which was pretty much the same as both of them were raised. They are the parents of three daughters and have been blessed with two granddaughters.

Laurel keeps busy in her church by being a mentor mom for her church’s mom’s group, a member of the education ministry and as a spare praise team member. She also serves on the school board for the public school in her community. She enjoys swimming, going for walks and spending time in her kitchen trying new recipes.

Carmen earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Miami and is a retired elementary school teacher. Her 31 years of teaching children from kindergarten through 5th grade has given her a firsthand look at the decline in children’s behavior and respect for authority. Her passionate desire to help parents regain control of their parenting roles using biblical sound teaching has led her to become a Certified Leadership Parenting Coach. Gabe and Heidi Landes

Gabe and Heidi Landes

We are Gabe and Heidi Landes, Certified Leadership Parenting Coaches and parents of four children. For too long we were tired, stressed-out, and frustrated parents. We loved our kids and wanted the best for them, but we had bought into the idea that the more we could give and do for them, the better off they would be. So like all good parents, we served our kids constantly and showered them with attention. In return, our kids argued, didn’t listen, didn't obey, didn't complete homework, didn't pick up their room nor help with dishes, or even put their shoes on without a good bit of nagging from us.

We began reading books and magazines for help. We enviously watched the perfect parents on Pinterest and commiserated with the struggling parents on Facebook. And we felt better, because everyone we knew was just as frustrated as we were. We had no idea parenting could be any different.

Then, a friend invited us to a weekend parenting retreat with John Rosemond, and we went. And our life changed. We were introduced to the "Seasons of Parenting" and realized we were stuck in Season One, revolving around our kids. We learned how to move into Season Two and put our marriage back in the center of our home. We went home, implemented what we learned, and within six weeks our house was completely different (for example, a 7-year bedtime battle was permanently resolved in one week). Today, our kids are cheerful, happy, obedient, motivated, and hard workers. For real. True story.

We became Certified Leadership Parenting Coaches because we want all families to find the peace and freedom we have found. We will help guide you into a completely new approach to parenting, and you will see things change in your home, too!

Liz Mallett

Liz Mallett

My grandmother said that I was "born with a baby on my hip." Mothering came natural to me at a very young age. Spending most of my childhood and teen years caring for babies and young children, teaching preschool throughout my college years only added to my love and interest in family building.

At the core of my philosophy regarding a harmonious family is the belief that the marriage comes first. I encourage parents to focus on their partners first, their children second. I value traditional roles within the family, calling for a loving male leader and a supportive wife. Parents make decisions based on what's best for the children, not necessarily what pleases their children.

My husband of over 20 years encouraged me to homeschool our own children. Because of his steadfast support, we will soon graduate our oldest son from high school! I realize that homeschooling may not be the best choice for every family, but I have spent the past decade encouraging new homeschool families on their journey. However parents decide to educate their children, it's my goal to eliminate the micromanagement of schoolwork by most American parents.

I work primarily in Oklahoma but am available via phone or Skype for established clients.

Lynnette Sheppard

Lynnette Sheppard

Lynnette is the mother of five, most of whom are teens and young adults. As a family science major in college, she thought she knew all about how to raise children. When her oldest child was born as the king of strong-will, however, followed by four others in short order, none of the psychological principles she learned in college were working in actual practice. Her kids were out of control, leaving her feeling hopeless and helpless. Then she and her husband discovered John Rosemond, started applying his teachings, and everything changed. Her children went from out-of-control to obedient, respectful, and responsible. Now that her kids are starting to leave the nest, Lynnette is passionate about helping other parents learn the skills that turned her family around so many years ago.

Kaye Wilson

Kaye Wilson

I grew up in Oklahoma City during the 60's and 70's and was a very compliant child. Imagine my shock and dismay when I had children who were not! Although the learning curve for me was pretty steep, John Rosemond taught me to lead my kids instead of negotiating with them, and I became a more confident and effective parent--most of the time, anyway.

Through homeschooling for ten years, teaching at a private school for five, and serving as headmaster for three, I turned to John and his principles time and time again. Naturally, when he began offering the opportunity to become a Certified Leadership Parenting Coach, I jumped at the chance!

Now that my five kids are grown and gone, I have the opportunity to use what I've learned to help other parents find their inner leader! It's my goal to coach parents through the tough times, to help them get a handle on what's really at issue and to regain confidence and joy in the parenting adventure!
